This policy explains what information the Shirdi Sai Baba Live TV app (for Android phones, tablets and TVs) collects and how it is used. The app is published by Ideaxecution Technologies (OPC) Private Limited (“Ideaxecution”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in India. Our general privacy policy also applies.
In short
- The app plays the live darshan from Shirdi. There is no account, no sign-in, no ads and no third-party analytics.
- When the app starts, it sends our server basic technical details about your device so it can fetch the stream and tell you about updates or maintenance.
- We never collect your name, contacts, photos, location or anything you watch elsewhere on your device.
What the app sends and why
Each time you open the app, it contacts our server to get the current address of the live stream and to check whether an update or maintenance notice is needed. With that request it sends:
- the app version and the type of device (phone, tablet or TV);
- a random install identifier created by the app the first time it runs (it is not your phone number, account or the device’s hardware serial number);
- the device manufacturer, model and model code, and the Android version;
- the country and language settings of your device;
- total and free storage, and total and free memory.
Our server also receives your IP address, as every internet connection does.
We use this information to deliver the stream, to show update and maintenance messages, to find and fix playback problems on particular devices, and to understand how many devices use the app. We do not use it for advertising and we do not try to identify you.
The live stream
The live video is produced and hosted by Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi (sai.org.in). When the app plays it, your device connects directly to their servers, which receive your IP address and handle it under their own policies.
Permissions
The app asks only for internet access (to load the stream) and permission to keep the screen awake while you watch. It does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or location.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information and do not share it with advertisers. Our server is run on infrastructure from our hosting provider, which processes it on our behalf. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep the technical records described above while the app is in use and delete records of installs that have not contacted us for 24 months. Server logs that include IP addresses are deleted after 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about your install, or to delete it, by emailing contact@ideaxecution.com. Because we don’t know who you are, please include roughly when you installed the app and your device model so we can find the record. Uninstalling the app deletes the install identifier from your device. You can also raise a grievance as described in our privacy policy, including with our Grievance Officer under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, beyond the technical details listed above.
Changes
If we change what the app collects, we will update this policy and the date above before the change reaches the app.
